Cabinet painting in Chattanooga, done the right way.

Four things you'll notice on every cabinet painting project — from the first call to the final reinstall.

Sprayed factory-smooth finish

Degrease, sand, bonding primer, then sprayed cabinet-grade enamel — not brushed. Doors finished in a controlled area for a smooth, even surface with no brush marks.

Owner-supervised

Tigran is personally on every cabinet job in Chattanooga — residential and commercial. 20+ years and his name on the work, not a franchise with rotating crews.

Custom color, any brand

Any Sherwin-Williams or Benjamin Moore color — not a fixed list of 35 pre-set finishes. Real samples brought to your kitchen for color choice and undertone check.

Honest pricing

Detailed printed quote handed to you on the spot at the free estimate. What's in the quote is what you pay — no hidden fees, no surprises.

Cabinets we paint & refinish

Every cabinet type, finished with the same care.

Kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, built-ins, islands, two-tone updates, and refreshes on existing painted cabinets. All by the same owner-supervised crew.

Kitchen Cabinets

Full kitchen cabinet painting and refinishing — doors, drawer fronts, boxes, end panels, crown. Sprayed factory-smooth in any custom color.

Bathroom Vanities

Vanity painting in a moisture-resistant cabinet enamel — smaller scope project, often finished in a single day.

Built-ins & Media Centers

Built-in bookcases, media centers, mudroom benches, and custom millwork — same prep and spray system as kitchen cabinets.

Islands & Accent Color

Island in a contrasting color, or an accent piece against existing cabinetry. High-impact update without redoing the whole kitchen.

Two-Tone Updates

White uppers with navy, sage, or black lowers — the most-requested cabinet update in Chattanooga right now. Two colors, one project.

Re-Coat Painted Cabinets

Already-painted cabinets that need a refresh or color change. Degrease, scuff sand, prime any failing areas, then spray. Faster than starting from stained.

How we work

Simple, transparent, on schedule.

No mystery, no vague timelines — here's what to expect on every cabinet painting project, from the first call to the final reinstall.

STEP 01

Request your free estimate

Call, text, or fill out the form. Same-day response, in-home visit usually within 2–3 days. We count doors, check material, and discuss colors at the visit.

STEP 02

On-site walkthrough & printed quote

We take measurements, look at door style, hardware, and box condition, then hand you a detailed printed quote within 5 minutes of finishing the walkthrough. Color consultation included. No obligation.

STEP 03

Doors off, spray on, finished on time

Most kitchen cabinet projects take 3–5 days; vanities and smaller built-ins are 1–2 days. We remove doors and hardware on day one, mask the boxes, then spray everything in cabinet-grade enamel. Doors cure in a controlled area, then we reinstall and do a final walkthrough. Backed by a 2-year workmanship warranty.

Cabinet colors trending in Chattanooga

Custom color is the whole point — any Sherwin-Williams or Benjamin Moore color, not a fixed list. Here are the four directions Chattanooga homeowners are picking most this year. We bring real samples to your kitchen so you see them in your light, against your countertops, before you decide.

White
Pure White, Alabaster, Snowbound

Timeless. The safest color if you might sell within five years — broadest appeal, brightens dark kitchens.

Sage & Green
Evergreen Fog, Sea Salt, Privilege Green

Soft greens, especially trending in Lookout Mountain and craftsman-style homes. Calm, organic, photographs beautifully.

Navy & Black
Naval, Iron Ore, Tricorn Black

Dramatic on lowers paired with white uppers. Works especially well in north-facing kitchens with good lighting.

Two-Tone
White uppers + colored lowers / island

The most-requested update right now. High visual impact, lets you commit to a strong color without overwhelming the whole space.

Have a color in mind, or no idea where to start? Either is fine. We help with undertones and how the color reads against your floor, countertop, and lighting.

Interior painting in Chattanooga — walls, ceilings, trim, and doors
Also offered

Interior painting in Chattanooga.

New cabinet color rarely looks finished against the old wall color. Most cabinet projects benefit from a refreshed wall and trim color at the same time — especially when the cabinets shift from stained to painted, or from white to a strong color like navy or sage.

Interior painting is our anchor service: walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and accent walls in premium Sherwin-Williams finishes. Same owner-supervised work, same careful prep — one schedule instead of two contractors.

Common questions

Cabinet painting questions, answered.

What's the difference between cabinet painting and refinishing?
Cabinet painting means applying a new painted finish to existing cabinets. Refinishing is broader: it includes conversion of stained cabinets to a painted finish, and re-staining stained cabinets in a different color. We do both. We don't reface (replacing door fronts) — we refresh what you already have for a fraction of the cost of replacement.
How long does cabinet painting take?
Most kitchen cabinet projects take 3 to 5 days. Bathroom vanities and smaller built-ins are usually 1 to 2 days. We remove doors and drawer fronts on day one, spray them in a controlled finishing area, and reinstall once the finish has cured. You get an exact timeline at the free estimate.
Do you reface cabinets?
No — we refinish, not reface. Refacing means replacing door fronts and veneers, which is a different trade. We strip, prep, prime, and spray your existing doors and frames in a new color or finish — a fraction of the cost of refacing, with the same visual result if the boxes are sound.
Can you paint laminate or thermofoil cabinets?
We focus on solid wood, MDF, and previously painted cabinets — the materials we can guarantee a lasting finish on. Laminate and thermofoil need specialty bonding systems we don't promise long-term results with, so we decline those rather than do work we can't back.
Can you paint over oak cabinets and hide the grain?
Yes. Oak cabinets can be painted, and the grain can either be left visible (more rustic, less prep) or filled smooth with grain filler before priming (more contemporary, factory-smooth). We walk you through the trade-off at the free estimate — both are valid choices.
What paint brand and finish do you use for cabinets?
Premium Sherwin-Williams cabinet-grade enamel by default, in satin or semi-gloss — durable, scrubbable, and built to handle kitchen wear. Benjamin Moore Advance is available on request. We use a bonding primer, sprayed application, and full cure time so the finish doesn't chip at the edges.
Do I need to remove doors or empty cabinets before you arrive?
No. We remove doors, drawer fronts, and hardware ourselves on day one, numbered for exact reinstall. We do ask you to empty the cabinet boxes so we can mask, prep, and spray them on-site without your kitchenware in the way.
Do you offer a warranty on cabinet painting?
Yes — a 2-year workmanship warranty on cabinet painting and refinishing. If the finish chips, peels, or fails because of how it was applied, we come back and make it right.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — licensed, bonded & insured (TN Home Improvement Contractor License #12728, $1M General Liability), with a 2-year workmanship warranty on every cabinet painting project — residential and commercial.
